Chair Practical Diary 2nd March

Today I finished off the side pieces straight away by just sanding down the edges. I then cut out the other 3 pieces on the scroll saw. Twothem were just rectangles so they were easy, the other one had Mickey Mouse style ears on so that was harder. I also cut out the slots for the side pieces to fit into on that and filed down the inside of it so it was a tight fit. I started doing more slots but only got chance to do one on one of the side pieces, that was a tight fit too. I'm proud that I didn't break any saw blades that lesson but people next to me did. Next lesson I will keep cutting out the slots and hopefully they will all be tight fits.
