Chair Practical Diary 16th Feb

At first I just drew the design I had already worked out onto the MDF I was using, I had to draw it twice the size of the ones I had done before. I then had to cut out all the pieces, to make it easier I got the 600 x 600 piece cut into smaller pieces on the band saw. I started by cutting out the side pieces on the scroll saw. I accidentaly broke 2 blades on that! when i had finished wrecking the scroll saw I made sure the pieces I had cut out were the same. To do that I cut off any extra bits with a coping saw (I broke another blade it that too) and used a file to smooth off the edges. next lesson i will mainly try not to break so many saw blades
